The Client:

North Somerset Council asked designers to pitch a concept for a sexual health awareness campaign targeted at 18 - 25 year olds.

The Brief:

To design a sexual health awareness campaign, that would also allow for existing sexual health organisations to adapt and use with their own branding. The brief required a campaign name, logo, slogan and poster examples.

The Results:

My campaign name 'Lights On' is a take on an old fashioned British stereotype where sex takes place in the dark, something extremely private and never talked about. The slogan 'Don't be in the dark about your sexual health' encourages 18 - 25 year olds to think more about their sexual health and not feel embarrassed to ask questions.

The logo is a modern 'on' symbol helping make the campaign more current and something easily recognisable for 18 - 25 year olds. These posters featured around college & university campuses, libraries, pubs and clubs.
